E100 Challenge

"I've read bits of the Bible but I don't really know how they all fit together."

"I love the Bible. I'd like some help to understand it better and how it applies to my life today."

"I've never read the Bible much but I'm interested in finding out more of what's in it."

Any of those quotes sound like you? Then the E100 Bible Reading Challenge is for you!

The challenge is to read 100 carefully selected, essential, short Bible passages - 50 from the Old Testament and 50 from the New Testament. The passages are usually one to two chapters in length and can easily be read in 10 minutes or less.

Are you up for the challenge?

PRAY: before you read, asking God to help you understand.

READ: the Bible passage for the day, perhaps more than once.

REFLECT: on the passage. Write your thoughts in a journal.

APPLY: what God teaches you from His Word to your life.

PRAY: again, asking God to help you live out His Word.

To help you keep track of your progress through the E100 Bible Challenge you can read the E100 Bible passages online or on your mobile phone using a      reading plan that has been developed by YouVersion. You can choose from a broad selection of Bible versions and you can even download an App for a web-enabled mobile phone.

As part of the Social Media (Facebook, Twitter and the E100 blog) element of this campaign, people's personal reflections on the passages are being publishing. You can read what other people have written on the blog and add your own comments and reflections.
